THE BRIEF

Lauren and Apichart asked if we could help with their wedding website. They had already secured a domain name and WordPress hosting.

However, they found they were too busy planning their big day and moving home to design and publish the site they wanted.

Our brief was to (quickly!) design and build a website that allows guests to RSVP online and provides them with useful details about the special day.

They needed the website to be set up quickly as their wedding invitations were ready and directed guests to the website.

Lauren and Apichart wanted the design to be simple and elegant and the colour scheme for their wedding was to be dusty pink and grey.

OUR PROCESS

After considering the brief, chatting with our clients and exploring a WordPress theme they had shortlisted we decided to design a bespoke one-page website with password protection, an RSVP email form and an embedded Google map.

At key points during the design phase, we published our work to one of our test servers to help fuel discussion. This allowed our clients to see our progress and provide feedback.

Lauren and Apichart were delighted with their website which matches their wedding theme perfectly and includes the sections they asked for:

Their site is password protected to ensure their information remains confidential and to avoid wedding crashers!

The RSVP form has been programmed to be interactive with internal logic. Guests who indicate they will attend are also asked to select their meal choices.

This helped the happy couple easily manage their wedding planning.

To protect our clients’ privacy, some of the content has been changed.
